Designing a spectacular display, stand, or point-of-purchase (POP) piece is only half the job. The other half—the part that determines whether that piece actually helps sell—is ensuring it arrives complete, on time, and at the exact spot where the customer will see it. And in southeastern Mexico, that second half presents very particular challenges.

Why is the southeast different?

Mexico is not a homogeneous logistics market. States like Yucatán, Quintana Roo, Chiapas, Tabasco, and Campeche have lower route density, longer distances between urban centers, and a greater dependence on specific distribution points. If your brand distributes point-of-purchase (POP) materials—exhibitors, endcaps, displays, signage—

Point of sale—in this area, the question is not just “Did it arrive?”, but “Did it arrive complete, undamaged, and to the correct store?”.

The most common problems when distributing POP material

  • Fragile or bulky items that are damaged in transit due to improper handling.
  • Scattered delivery points, often in areas where traditional parcel delivery does not have efficient coverage.
  • Tight campaign timesPOP material is almost always tied to a release or promotion date, and a delay means losing the commercial window.
  • Lack of traceability: not knowing the exact location of each piece along the route when the customer asks.
  • Coordination with dozens of points of sale at the same time, each with its own schedules and reception restrictions.

What a brand that distributes POP material needs

More than a transporter, what's needed is an operator who understands that each point-of-purchase (POP) display is, at its core, a sales tool. This implies:

  1. Specialized handling of bulky or fragile cargo, with packaging and securing designed for exhibitors and displays.
  2. Real coverage in the southeast, not only in the capital cities, but also in secondary points of sale where brand visibility is also at stake.
  3. Routes planned to meet campaign windows, synchronizing delivery with the launch date.
  4. Visibility of the status of each delivery, so that the brand can respond to its internal client without guessing.

The real impact of good POP distribution

A campaign with a perfect design but with displays that arrive late, incomplete, or damaged is a campaign that failed to achieve its objective. Last-mile logistics for point-of-purchase (POP) materials is not a minor operational detail: it's the difference between your brand appearing on the shelf as planned, or not being seen at all.

Does your brand distribute POP material in southeastern Mexico? At TZ Logística, we know the region, its routes, and its delivery times, and we ensure that every piece arrives ready to sell.
